Perseverance (noun):persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success.

The McMain Boys Basketball team is the epitome of perseverance.

For the first time in the program’s history, the McMain Mustangs are headed to the State Championship!

For years, the mustangs showed up to every practice and every game, giving it their all. This year, they are making history. It may not have been an easy road, but they persevered, and their persistence has paid off.

Join us in congratulating them as they head to the Burton Coliseum to face off against George Washington Carver this Saturday, March 13 at noon.

What to cheer on the team as they head for states?

The McMain Boys’ Basketball team will depart the campus for the State Championship Friday afternoon.

Fans who wish to give our team a (socially distanced) send-off, can gather on Nashville Avenue at 11:50 a.m. on Friday to cheer our team on to victory as they depart for Lake Charles. Please wear black and gold!
